We believe ECONO-HEAT® wall panel heaters are the world's most economical heater, offering you out-of-the-way wall mounting and efficient room heating at a remarkably low cost.
How ECONO-HEAT® panels work
ECONO-HEAT® panels provide a constant background heat whilst using very little electricity. This heating concept is similar to some central heating systems, but ECONO-HEAT® panels are much cheaper to purchase, install and operate.

Efficient convection technology
Using convection technology ECONO-HEAT® wall panel heaters generate an efficient up-draught of heat circulated into the room. Once the panel is up to temperature, about 90% of the total heat generated is distributed by natural convection, the remaining 10% by radiation. The surface temperature of the ECONO-HEAT® panel can reach 90ºC.
What are they made from?
ECONO-HEAT® panels are constructed from two cement fibre boards with an element wire laminated between them, and come complete with a power cord and plug.
The panels are factory painted with supersilk wipe clean water based paint. The surface temperature can reach 90°C (dependant on the ambient temperature) and there are no exposed elements, making the panels safer for children and pets.
Versatile modern design
ECONO-HEAT®panels are very versatile - they can be painted with any good quality water-based paint to match, or contrast with your wall colour. The panels have an easy to reach on/off switch with low intensity light. In addition to the paintable white panels we offer a dolphin picture panel.
The ECONO-HEAT® wall panel heaters are available in two sizes a small 450 x 600mm (260 watt) panel, or a large 600 x 600mm (400 watt) panel. The 260 watt uses 5-6* cents electricity per hour and the 400 watt uses less than 9* cents of electricity per hour, that is the equivalent power consumed by 3-5 incandescent light bulbs to heat an area of approximately 9m2 or 12m2 respectively, - saving you 50% or more on heating costs!
Personal heating requirements and specific applications may vary.
*Based on an electricity price of 22 cents per unit (kWh), including GST
